The Ballista Blast Expander adds a dedicated modulation source to the Ballista Blast. It runs as either an LFO or an envelope, and the modulation can be assigned to six destinations on the host module: harmonics, emphasis, parameter, pitch, amplitude and a freely assignable slot.
The assignable slot can target the Ballista Blast's own envelope, or the parameters of a second expander – two can be connected at once, one per expander port.
All settings follow the presets: destination, depth and shape are stored and recalled together with the sound on the host module.
- Modulation expander for the Shakmat Ballista Blast.
- Switchable between LFO and envelope generator.
- Six modulation destinations: harmonics, emphasis, parameter, pitch, amplitude and assignable.
- LFO shapes: skewed ramp, morphable waveform, random (sample and hold) and 8-step sequence.
- LFO modes: free, synced, clocked or both.
- Envelope types: AR, AD and ASR, with linear or exponential response.
- CV inputs for depth, shape/attack and time/decay, plus a clock/trigger input.
- Depth configurable as attenuator or attenuverter.
- All modulation settings stored and recalled with the Ballista Blast presets.
- Up to two expanders per Ballista Blast.
- Powered from the Ballista Blast – the expander draws no current from the bus board.
- 4 HP wide, 21 mm deep, skiff friendly.
